Ok...I was thinking it may be an infection or something & was worried. I'll watch her for today...If it doesn't seem to get any better, I'll schedule a vet appointment. Thanks for the responses :)

I woke up this morning to find Dolly's right ear extremely red. The left one is normal. I've checked it over for any signs of scratches, discharge, etc but found nothing. It looks normal except for the red. My first thought was that she's too hot but wouldn't both ears be red? And it's not that...

I have no clue :( Dolly has had her wheel for about a month now & she still has no interest in it other than peeing on it. Guess some chins just don't want to run on a wheel :)

I went & looked at the "branches" Turns out they were giant logs for burning in a woodstove...Not sure how he got that mixed up with what I said I needed "small twigs & branches 4 to 5 inches diameter at most.....So I don't have to worry about trying to identify them :)

He knows they haven't been sprayed. He just doesn't know what kind of tree. So I guess I'm just going to get a few apple branches from a neighbors yard :)

There's a guy down the road that has a big pile of branches. The electric company trimmed them from the power lines. Only problem is, he doesn't know anything about trees & has no idea what kind they are. Is there any way to find out & eliminate them from the bad wood list? Would love to make...

So far, she seems to be doing fine. She's running & hopping around like normal. Eating, drinking & pooping normal. The cut has scabbed over & looks like it's healing normally. And yes, I really hope others can learn from this before it happens to them :)
