Playpen is a bad idea, straight up! Firstly you would need to quarentine your new chin for 30 days. Next you would have to start slowly, but putting the cages side by side but a few inches a part, so the chins get familiar with the others smell. THEN you can slowly alternate cages, then...

Some hay fleece haybags, and one has a terracotta plant pot(small one). If it sit it upright it get knocks on the side anyway. Both work

I dont know how you didnt say anything. I would have blasted this woman! You did her such a great favour by rescuing her. Im sure this chin will be forever grateful. I cant believe how cruel people can be. I hope she recovers nicely
