I have scoured the internet to find a cage in the size I need for my Cloud. Elena and Tseng are in a FN and I love it, but for Cloud the single is too small and the double is too close to the ground. So I found this.

HQ calls it a bird cage, but they also sell what looks like the same cage and call it a small animal cage. I looked this cage up and most places selling it claim it to be sturdy (a must!) but it is made of powder coated wrought iron. Is that safe? Also I never heard of HQ, does anyone know anything about them? Thanks,
Danielle

Powder coating is a great way to seal exposed metal - it's essentially baked onto the metal and doesn't come off easily - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Powder_coating so you shouldn't need to worry about them eating paint chips!

Being wrought iron, it'd be a bit more ductile than typical steel in pet cages due to the lower carbon content (assuming it is wrought iron and not just marketed as such) but that should make any difference overall - it's more the wire gauge that will determine the strength of the bars
