White discharge around eye

Hello everybody, we got an eye issue. I just noticed today my boy has some white liquidy discharge around one of his eyes, but it clears away easily. His eye just seems to be wet since the fur around it is wet and it's a tiny bit crusty but nothing too alarming. The good news is he's acting completely normal. Do you think it's anything serious? I'm not sure if I can take him to a vet at this time. I'm keeping a close eye on his eye, as this is the first day I'm noticing this.

Whether it's a tooth issue or an eye infection, he's going to need to see a vet. If it's an eye infection, he will at least need antibiotic drops and possibly oral antibiotics. If it's a tooth issue, he will need x-rays to make a proper diagnosis.

Wet and crusty is, in my experience, generally an eye infection that needs treatment.
