My AC unit seems to have died and I'm wondering if you have a suggestion as to what unit work work best for my 12'x12' barn. Would one that does heat and AC be ok, or is having a separate space heater better?

I would rather have one that has heat built in - I always think of space heaters as dangerous, like if they get knocked over or something.
The only con to a unit with built-in heat is the price! Althogh a good space heater with a thermostat can be pricey too... So I think you might as well get the AC/Heat.
