Please help. There was a scar like black thing on my chin's ear 3 days ago. Last night we check it the scar was gone and it looked pick there. Everything else is OK for him. Eats a lot, poopoo normal. Does anyone know what was that black scar. Should I take him to a vet?

Does he have any cagemates? It looks like another chin may have nipped at his ear, but it's healed now. Just my guess

Yeah it looks like a scab that's come off. Are there any sharp corners or wires in his cage, or jagged bits of wood he might have caught his ear on?
