What do chin stomachs NORMALLY feel like?

I'm just wondering what chin stomachs are supposed to feel like so I can tell if something is ever wrong, like bloat, with Annabelle. I can't seem to find the answer to this anywhere, and I'm just curious. Thanks!

So she is pooping, eating, drinking, playing and seems fine right now? If so, feel her tummy gently....that's what it should feel like.

A bloated chin's tummy will feel like a balloon. A normal chinchilla's tummy should be soft, when you gently run your fingers over it. If it is bloated it will feel huge and tight (best way I can think of describing it.).
Other things to look for in a chinchilla, if they are not doing well, is to feel for any undigested food in their tummies. It is not normal if you feel any little bumps around where their intestines are. It should be smooth to the touch.
