Wet Chinchilla

So I just had a friend call and say her chinchilla had escaped and ended up jumping into a toilet. He's dry now (toweled off), but is there any precautions or additional measures she should take to prevent any illness?

He should be towel dried, then blow dried with the cool setting to make sure the fur is dry all the way to the skin. I'm not really sure if there are any preventative measures for possible illnesses.
