Can a chinchilla drink too much?
I have a 2 month old that loves to sit and drink for LONG times. to the point where her tummy seems bloated but later isn't. this only happens when she drinks a lot. do i have to limit water?

I would never limit water. Is she peeing ok? Increased water intake can sometimes be a sign of various illnesses including UTIs and diabetes.

She is peeing fine. She plays normally. LOVES to be held. when i got her about a month ago she was fed on hamster food and weighed under 100 grams. I just weighed her she is now just under 200 grams. which is right where she should be for her age. is this too much weight gain?
Also she has been drinking water like this since i got her. should i be worried?

How old is she? Is the humidity really low where you are? If so, that could explain the drinking.
