Water Buddies

So I know these are discontinued, but each of my chins and my degu girls have one, plus I have a few that are still new.

However, I usually just hand wash them, but I was wondering if anyone knew if it was safe to put them in the dishwasher. I'm kind of afraid they'll melt or come out deformed or something, so I thought I'd ask before I did it.

Because I love these water bottles and would hate to miss them up.

When you put them in the dishwasher the plastic turns opaque plus the nozzle turns a duller color. I do it all the time it just doesn't look brand new. I also have a lot of the 8 oz bottles and a few of the 16 oz has spares. I put mine through the dish washer once a week.
