Vit E Oil for Ear Gunk

Martin has a lot of that black gunk/fingers along the edges of his ears. Will vitamin e oil work to remove it, or does it have to be vaseline?

Vitamin E will work, but Vaseline, bag balm or nipple cream work better.

Thank you! I will get some vaseline on the way home from work. Now the trick will be getting him to let me touch his ears!
