Hi I was looking at Craigslist at chinchilla and saw a pick of one eating a carrot. They eat carrots right

Chins should not have any fruits or veggies. Food pellets and hay is what they require. If you want to feed them treats there are a variety of dried flowers and herbs they can have, as well as tons of safe woods.
