Just to share the joy,
VanGogh had an ear that was totally closed off and infection became a large mass. Had to drain and give antibiotics for 6 weeks to start again a week after... the ear wasn't draining itself so infection would continually occur. I therefore had him operated on to give an opening. This only issue is since I was unable to afford a scan, the vet and I had no idea what was underneath. We were fortunate to see that as far as the eye can see, VanGogh's internal ear is normal so his ear will drain normally and no more infections for the young man.
