Are uhaul blankets okay to put under fleece in a chinchilla's cage? I heard it will absorb the pee. One of my chins pull her fleece up when she wants to get out though. She never eats it. If she finds the blanket is it dangerous?

I would say no if the chin can get to it it's not safe. Looking it up there are two uhaul blanket things, quilted pads made of recycled cotton or furniture pads made of recycled denim, neither are chin safe materials. Also the quilted material has thread, dangerous if swallowed it can slice up intestines. I would also be weary of recycled material too, you don't know where it's from, it could be recycled factory trimmings or recycled used fabric that could contain trace amounts of chemicals.

No, those would not be safe to use in a chinchillas cage. You can order fleece liners with a third fleece layer (we make those to order) if you want an extra layer.
