Hello,
Im wondering if a hedgie can be left alone for a weekend or so, would they be okai or is it not safe to leave them alone for longer then needed??

I wouldn't leave one alone overnight more than 12 hours without being checked on. There is so much that might go wrong. Water bowl could get tipped, temperature drop and s/he attempts hibernation, hurting themselves, nail caught in bedding etc.

I know that we had a 'hedgie sitting' list on C&Q...
I wonder if we restarted that here.
(That's how I met one of my hedgie friends here).

You could get someone to check on your hedgehog. It's not really that difficult. They just have to check and see if there is food and water and lift the blanket off of your hedgehog to check for blood or anything abnormal. Is your hedgehog friendly or will he/she ball up if disturbed?
