Terrified of a toy

I got some new toys in the mail today and put them in my girls' cages right away. Dru and Bea seemed happy about their new toys until Bea wandered downstairs and found one made up of colored wooden blocks. She scampered away, hid in her fleece tube and alarm called until I took it away. I gave it to Dru who started munching on it while I was still hanging it. Anyone else have weird experiences like this? I was so mystified by Bea's behavior.

Maybe she caught the scent of another animal off it, and that scared her?

I just let them hang there, they will get curious and go check them out after a while.
