St. John's Wort

I was looking through chinchilla supplement recipes online, and several listed St. John's wort as one of the ingredients. I grew up with herbs all around me because of my mother swearing about how amazing they were and how they could cure anything. That being said, is this safe for chinchillas? I'm also questioning the the skimmed milk powder they have listed as another ingredient.

I currently use my own recipe which doesn't contain any herbs (other than some crushed rosehips). I'm not necessarily looking to change my recipe, I was just doing some "bored" searching.
