Squeaky breathing?

I noticed today that my violet chin, Morris, was squeaking sometimes when he breathes. He is acting normal. Eating, drinking, pooping, and playing normally. He hasn't lost any weight. Should he be taken to the vet?

Squeaky breathing could be the sign of a URI or pneumonia. If it appears that he is breathing differently, I would have him checked by a vet.

I ended up taking him to the vet. She said he looked and sounded good. His weight was the same as the last visit. She checked his gut, heart, and lungs and she said they all sounded good. She told me to keep an eye on him and to call her if I notice any changes. He doesn't do it all the time, so I am not sure what it is.

I don't think so... he is much, much louder than that when he cries/barks.
