A few days ago I decided I wanted to move. I've been in Western MA for school for the past 3 years and although I took a semester off last year, I'm looking to take some more time off from school. Both of my parents were laid off and they've also been having some health problems which has put college on the back burner for now. I never knew how unhappy I was here until I moved to NYC this past summer to work for my best friend's family as a nanny.
I'm lucky that I have a place to stay in the city for the next couple of months as I work and save money for my own place (although that's being momentarily hindered by my decision to buy an FN 142 for Watson!!)
Are any of you in the city? I feel like this is bigger than my decision to choose the school I chose. Back to packing! I leave in a few hours :dance3:
