Sleeping standing up.

Marble likes to sleep in a standing position. Around 3pm he'll come out of hiding and position himself in this half standing half sitting pose and the funny part is his ears will be tucked back and the fur will be fluffed up with the paws balled up right into his chest fur. When he does this he looks like a winter hat pom-pom ball. Sometimes he'll face the wall but mostly he faces outward and looks very grumpy. He's so funny looking and round but it's also pretty peculiar behavior because it's always at the same point in the day. Anyone got a chin that does something like this?

I've caught mine doing this - WITH THEIR EYES OPEN!
Sometimes so deep in sleep, I've touched them to make sure they're alive!
They usually jump away, stop and look at you, like "What!! I was sleeping!!"
Funny critters!

Yes!!! He sleeps with his eyes open when he does this. I poke him all the time but he could care less he just turns his head slightly and continues on with his weird sleeping. Mine likes to be pet so he doesn't jump away because he thinks he's getting pet.

Yeah. One of my girls does this too. She closes her eyes, though.
