Skin Tags?

Can chinchillas get some sort of thing? My chinchilla has the smallest lump underneath all his fur. Feels like a pimple or a bite or something. No hair loss. In fact, I can't even see it for all the fur. I have no idea what it is but it doesn't seem to hurt him. Does that sound familiar to anybody?

This may sound silly, but is it a nipple? Where is it?

i don't think so? it's underneath his chin...on his neck area (if chinchilla's had necks!)

Both of my chinchillas have skin tags in which my vet said was completely normal just like humans. If it gets in the way of healthy activity such as eating or possibly getting ripped off and infected, the vet can take it off.

sorry for the late reply. yeah i just stopped being paranoid about them because they went away after a while. but thank you for the reassurance. i hope your chins are thriving and happy!
