Skin Tag?

So tonight when holding Maddie I felt a little bump, I checked it out and it looks to me like a skin tag. She is missing same hair around it and the skin around it is a little flaky. What do you guys think? Does she need to go to the vet? She is acting normal, eating and pooping normal

That would be her nipple. It's a part of a chinchilla's normal anatomy.

you know what, I am just a goober! you are right, I had just never realized that chin nipples are so far on the sides of their body... or at least further on the side than I expected. Maddie is my skinny girl so I guess it is easier to feel than with my other girls. Wow I will go put on my dunce cap now :wacko: guess that was my blonde moment for the week
