Scratching

I love this forum, it has opened my eyes so much! Of course now I am hawking my two boys for every disease that I have read about!
They may have been doing this for a while and I just didnt notice, but they both scratch their fur. Much like my dog does when she has an itch. Not so much biting, but using their feet. Normal????

Yes, normal. How often are you giving them dust baths? Their skin may be dry if they are scratching excessively. Other than that, not a big deal at all..all animals get itches..

every 3 days? like i said, i am totally hawking them now so i may have just noticed it more. thanks!

If their skin is dry you can sometimes tell by their ears (back of ears will be flaky).

Sounds like they are just itchy but be aware of any hairloss or redness along with the itching as that may be a sign of fungus.
