Rubbing face

I didn't see another thread on this so I thought I would ask. I have noticed that my chin rubs his face on the carpet occasionally when he is out for playtime. He sometimes does it on other objects as well. Is this normal?

He might want to take a dust bath. Mine do this in the bedding/on their shelves while they are waiting for theirs.

Does he dig at the carpet before he rubs his face in it? If he does, he's doing the dust bath dance. It's totally normal. My girl starts doing the dust bath thing all the time and everywhere. I give her a bath every other day, I think it's just one of her quirks. When she sleeps on her side, she'll rub the sides her face a few times before plopping over and snoozing. She's weird.
