Redness around Vagina

I currently have 3 fosters(yes Arlington fosters). After seeing the pregnancy alerts I realized I never recalled checking on their bits to make sure they were who they thought they were. All 3 are separate. I know dumb on my part for not checking sooner.

So I went to check to make sure all were in fact females. I noticed the one girl, named Gemini for she is two sided personality, has redness around her vagina. What could this possibly mean for her. The cage does need to be cleaned and I am wondering whether a dust bath and fresh shavings will help as it's just irritated or if it is possibly infected.

Advice on what to do?


Edit to add: there is no discharge and I didn't press on her stomach at all to see if anything would come out.

When a female is in estrus the vaginal area is red. Not sure without a picture if this is what is happening.
