Really legal?

I know there have been other threads on exotics, but I ran across this ad while perusing Kijiji near me. The poster has the following animals listed:Baby Pygmy/Fainting Goats, Artic Marble Fox Kits, Skunks, Mountain Coati Mundi, Fallow Deer, Baby Cavys, Munt Jac Deer.

Now, I know people have skunks and cavys as pets (assuming they are referring to the guinea pigs - I haven't heard of the more wild cavys as pets), but I did not know it was legal to have foxes and deer - or that you could keep them indoors. Has anyone heard of this? What are your thoughts?

I haven't heard of deer as pets, but I have heard of foxes. And the fainting goats. There's even an International Society of Fainting Goats. http://www.faintinggoat.com/

I have heard of all of them as pets with proper permits, except the 2 deer, but I know you can own regular deer, so why not those? You can own lions and bears with the proper permit.
