Question on Rosehips

I recently purchased some rose hips from a breeder and am wondering are they supposed to smell kind of spicy? I know they are supposed to be organic but the smell is not what I thought they would smell like. Also how much and what kind of oats would be ok for a treat and how often. My little tootie is on a diet that he`s been raised on by the breeder I purchased him from. Just don`t want to upset his tummy.

Yes, rosehips will have a sort of spicy smell to them, definitely don't smell like a rose flower does.

A pinch of oats is plenty once a day. Enough that would fit inbetween your finger and thumb when you pick some up. You want the old fashioned (not minute) oats. Although whole oats are okay as well.

yep definitely spicy, rolled oats are good. if you want I can give you my recipe for an oat supplement. my boys cant get enough of it.
