Question for toy makers

What kind of wire do you use when making toys? I've read on some packages, that some of the wires can be cancer causing, which of course makes me paranoid.

i use a really thin stainless steel wire from Home Depot. i can't find the package to show you right now, but it's a small round disk shape, and only cost a few dollars.

I figured I'd ask. Unfortunately a lot of things we're exposed to these days can be hazardous. Thanks!
