how safe are these toys? I was looking at getting a couple, till I can order stuff from people on this site.

Those look fine. Just make sure there is no rawhide or plastic on the toys.

I've gotten the one in the second link before. Our chinchillas love it. Just make sure the wood on the other toys is safe and they should be fine.

And to add to what Cubblebug said, also make sure it doesn't have cotton rope.

I have gotten bird toys before. Sometimes you have to cut off little piece of leather, but if you pick and choose, there's some really fun stuff in the bird toy aisle
