Pear tree Branches?

Ok.. another question... Im going to be building a cage out of a cabinet and have looked at other peoples cage interiors and I LOVE the idea of branches in there.... Im going to cut down a small pear tree soon and was wondering if I could us it? I also have apple trees, but the pear one is definatly going..It doesnt bare good fruit..

If I can use it.. great... and im willing to give some branches, sticks to other chin owners that are near me.. If not.. I will "prune" the apple tree...

Oh.. and they havent had pesticides or fertilizer on them.

Yes, pear wood is safe for chins. Post pics of the cage when its done!

Just make sure you scrub the wood to remove dirt and bake it to kill off any microorganisms.

Yes- please, please post pics of the cage when you're finished! I love seeing cabinet/melamine - style cages with tree branches inside! It always looks so fun for the chinchilla!
