Painting the Living room...question about moving cage

I know this is well in advace, but my husband and I were discussing this today, so---In the spring we will be painting our living room. I want to wait til then so I can move Trixie to another room that I can ventilate by opening a window.
Do you think moving her to the bedroom..which is the next room over..off the living room is far enough away from the paint fumes? I figured keeping her there for a day or two after the painting. Does this seem OK? I just do not want her made sick by the paint.

I would use a low-VOC and low-odor paint and keep the door closed with the window open.
