Oxbow removed probiotics from CC

Not sure if this was posted, so decided to start a thread.
Oxbow removed probiotics from CC, saying the company wants veterinarians to select the types and amounts of probiotics they think would benefit each specific case and animal.

Did Oxbow make an announcement, or how did you find out? My vet is going to be interested in this.

That's actually good news

Someone I knew tried to get the Apple and Banana flavour here in the UK for her shop. She was told that it couldn't be supplied to the UK because of it containing pro-biotics. There was some legal issue with that apparently. Maybe it will mean we can get hold of it instead of having to import.

Its not on the ingrediant list anymore, I personally never trusted there was enough and supplemented it.

Interesting. Good to find out, thanks for posting. I always supplemented the CC chins anyway with probiotics, but I wouldn't have noticed it wasn't in there any longer had I not seen this thread.
