Out of cage options?

Wondering what everyone does for out of cage time. I used to have a spare room just for the chinchillas (I have 2), but that's no longer an option. I'm wondering if anyone has tried the playpens or if you have other portable ideas? I'm looking for an option that I can use in any room and preferably something I can take down after playtime. But still good quality and beneficial to them. Advice (and pictures!) appreciated.

I use a spare room, but when that isn't an option I use a critter pen (bar spacing is 1") that I loop around the cage. This is an old pic but should give you an idea. Several people use playpens, like these, you just have to keep an eye on them to make sure they don't chew it. Also you can make your own playpen out of cardboard, cheap, replaceable and it can be whatever size you want.
