Zoaea
O.o
I use paper/wood pulp based bedding because I am allergic to most wood shavings. I started using a white colored bedding (normally its a natural brown color) and I saw that my chinchilla's pee spot is orange. When it is wet is a dusky yellow color and as it drys it turns orange. Is this normal?? I just know orange pee in humans usually means blood. =x
I have two chins, one is just over a year (white) and the other is pushing 4 years (black). They both are eating, drinking plenty, and active like normal. I feed them timothy hay, and oxbow chinchilla pelts, both are unlimited. (both chins also like the hay more).
I will try to attach a photo I took of the pee, (it shows both yellow wet pee and the dry orange pee) and the 2 chins.
