On my vet hunt - Southern NY

I've been on my vet hunt for awhile, as I would like to have at least 2 options (one closer to school, and one closer to home) just in case an emergency arises.

These are the two I've come up with just by looking at the internet. I would like to call them/stop in at some point just to ask them questions, but I'm not sure what to ask.

Hmm.. I've lived all over New York and my most recent residence was in the Huntington area.. which is northern.. but depending on which part of NY, might not be too, too far.. a great exotic veterinarian I've found was at Island Exotic on Jericho Turnpike/25.
