Not developing properly or just small?

My albino hog has had 5 babies about 2 weeks ago now . I've had a look at the babies today and picked one up briefly but they seem to be at the stage of 1 week old not 2 weeks but they are definatly 2 weeks old. I'm worried they aren't developing properly or do you think they are just small as there are 5 babies?

There eyes are still firmly shut and they have no fur under their belly. They have a full back of spikes though.

i dont know much about breeding.
but i do know that they progress slower when there's alot of them.

The hedgehog's eyes normally open around 2 1/2 weeks old. I wouldn't be too worried yet.

weights only 25g

They are definatly smaller than my last lot of babies but she had 3 last time now she has 5 now. They are 4 and a half weeks old and they still only weight 25g. I've bought some esbilac to try and supplement them but they won't drink it from a dish or from a syringe. And I've tried some softened cat food which I feed momma but they still don't want any of it they won't even annoint with it. They seem in perfect health other than they are very small.

Wow, that is tiny. A litter of 5 shouldn't be that much smaller. Are you giving mom the esbilac too?
