My husband wrote this eulogy for our baby Noodles, and I thought it only appropriate to share it here with his memory. He was euthanized a week ago today, to the hour that this is posted. It's just so shocking how much one little quilled baby can show us so much about living our life the right way and accepting what comes. I miss my baby.
Our Noodles had a face of pink.
His quillful body stank of stink.
A simple noise would make him huff
At times the huff was with a puff.
The rough demeanor of this pog,
It gave Steph strength for body smog.
You often noticed sinep juice;
"Just how much sperm can he produce?"
Our special guy was likely gay,
Though Cotton wished he'd looked her way.
He truly was our darling prick.
We loved him still as he grew sick.
A cancer claimed our pog so fast.
We worried just how long he'd last.
Last week we knew his time was nigh.
Today he rests, loved things nearby.
Reflect this day on what we've learned.
Our time with Noodles has adjourned.
