Okay so I'm not a total noob, just to this forum. I've been around chinchillas for years and finally convinced my fiance to let me have my own. I have a total of 4 now,
Ash- standard grey, 8weeks
Misty- white mosaic, 6-8weeks
And the other two I haven't come up with names for yet. Long story short, I just adopted them this weekend from a craigslist woman. All together, there was a father (standard grey), mother (white mosaic), and their baby (Misty). She seems to be about 6-8 weeks old, they didn't even know when she was born. The parents I would guess are roughly 2-3 years. It was obvious these poor babies have been neglected for some time- living in filth, feces matted into their fur, it goes on... So basically I'm here for some extra opinions and guidance when I require it, and also to make some friends as well since we all share the same passion for our fluffy critters!!
