I had thought about naming mine Cato (from Hunger Games), a good blood thirsty career tribute. Asher or Ash as well (Ash for evil dead/army of darkness character).

Oh my gosh, I basically just had an epiphany!

So I've been leaning toward naming him Hannibal, but at the same time, I feel like Hannibal sounds a bit harsh or it just sounds weird calling him Hannibal all the time...

...BUT I figured it out!! And I have no idea why I didn't realize this sooner!!

So his official name is Hannibal, but his nicknames will be Nibble/Nibbles/Nibbler! (Han-NIBBLE....duh *smacks head* can't believe I didn't notice this)

This way I get a cutesy chinchilla with a neat name

Thanks for all the help guys!! I kinda figured it'd be Hannibal, but I calling him that all the time just doesnt seem right, so he'll have his nicknames and I think its perfect!!

I have a Hannibal, his nicknames are Hannie, Banana man, Biscuit, Hans so its not a creepy name and he is only Hannibal when he is bad, which is about 80% of the time!

I vote for Hannibal, Mortimer or Fester.. Like Uncle Fester from the Addams family! =D
