New chin??

Hello!

After nearly three wonderful years of having a chinchilla I am looking into getting her a friend. I have a question though. Would it be harder or not a good idea to get a blind chinchilla a friend? Or, is that not an issue. Also is it better to get a chinchilla the same age or younger, older? I am looking at getting a 3 year old chinchilla like mine right now, but if another age is better pls let me know.

Age doesn't really matter, personality matters, like if they want to be friends or not and if they want to share a cage or not. I have no idea about a blind chin, someone else can hopefully help there, but I would think it might make it harder.
