Hi everyone, 3 days ago I adopted my first female chin. She turned 3 months old this past week. Anyhow, she's displaying different behavior than when I adopted my 2 males. I read that keeping them in the cage for the first week or so is suggested to let them get used to their new surroundings. Was curious if what I read was correct or not. Any tips or suggestions will be gratefully appreciated too! Thanks. :grouphug:

Is your female housed with the males?
Chins can take a long while to adjust to a new place. Give her plenty of time. Keeping her in her cage can be a good idea. If shes not adjusted then letting her out could only scare her more.
