For all of you that have given metacam in the past for pain how many times a day is it usually given?

Also can this cause them not to want to eat or drink?

Once a day and I did not notice that it caused them not to eat or drink. If you are giving an antibiotic, such as oral Baytril that can cause loss of appetite, or Sulfa can have the side effect of less water ingestion.

I have not used metacam on chins but in all other animals it is always once a day. Is your chin on any other meds?
