On Saturday, I brought home my second chin. :D
I got him from Juanita Hendryx(and thanks again by the way) and he's the sweetest little guy♥

I did get some decent pictures, but not many, as I didn't want to bother him too much. :]
Please ignore the cage, he's only in this one for quarantine and I'm monitoring any chewing of the plastic. He will join my other in his CN eventually. ^.^

Congratulations Shannon, he is a cutie and can't go wrong with Juanita's babies. I am sorry you left the show early but it was nice meeting you.

Thanks everyone! :D

He is settling in nicely. He was barking a bit during the first two nights but he was silent last night. :] I can't get over how much bigger he is either! My other one looks dwarfed compared to him Lol.

I can't wait until I can start introducing them! ^ . ^

Shannon it is not unusual to hear that a chin purchased from a breeder that actively shows ends up being much larger than a chin bought as a pet from a pet store or hobby breeder (or rescue). It doesn't always happen as we all have ones that will be small genetically from time to time, but most breeders continually try to achieve a standard in which a big beautiful blocky, dense, clear colored chin is desired. It doesn't mean that any other chin is less desirable to have as a pet but typically it is of no concern healthwise.

Yeah, I thought there would be a difference but it's a bit silly to imagine them cuddling since Chilly seems so tiny XD

Brandy - Yeah, I'm glad I did too. :] He is such a great addition to my family. ^.^

Size doesn't affect cuddling! :)

That will be the least of your worries. You will be surprised, I put tiny males weighing 600 gms with humongous 1200 gm chins all the time.
