Madrone wood

Is madrone wood safe? I can't find anything on it to know. Does anyone?

It's within the "Ericaceae" family, sometimes being mistaken as Manzanita which is safe. I personally never used it for the chins so I can't say it's safe but after googling for awhile, it sounds safe to me.

Thanks. I've not decided to try it for sure or not. I just saw it was a bird wood and wondered.
