Loosing quills

Hey there,

I know that they can lose their quills because of stress, mites or quilling but im just wondering if its normal for them to losethe odd one here and there, not everyday but just the odd one or 2 every couple of weeks...? I dont know if this is normal or not or if i should be concerned i probaly sound like a nut-job but i just like to be sure when it comes to him.

No, you don't sound like a nut job, just a concerned owner.

It is totally normal for them to loose a quill or some fur here and there. Some will loose a few quills daily, others randomly, and some none ever. During season changes many will loose more quills as well. :thumbsup:
