Locating Supplies

Hi everyone! I'm looking to build a new melamine cage for my chinchillla, but can't seem to find 1/4" sheets of melamine anywhere. I've tried both Home Depot and Lowes, but they either have the 3/4" big sheets or the 1/4" 4'x17". I'm looking for sheets at least 6'x 2'. If anyone knows where to find such a thing in the Baltimore area, I'd be very grateful. Thanks!

Ok, so if 1/4" melamine doesn't exist, does anyone have an alternate solution of a similar material but lighter in weight?

I've heard of people building cages out of plywood and lining it with melamine. Apparently there's some sort of melamine that is thin (maybe 1/4) that can be applied to other types of wood, like the way you'd apply wallpaper (maybe not that similar, but that's how I'd picture it). I couldn't tell you what that's called or where to get it, but I know that type of thing exists.
