I was going to clean out my chinchilla's cage tonight. I hadn't swept it out in a couple days. Today she was sleeping on the floor of her cage and it has been 4 hours since I found her and she has had no droppings since. She acts responsive and if I open the door she comes up and she'll play outside of her cage just fine. I don't know how long is too long. She's old but I see no reason for this. I'm hoping the new bag of hay wasn't bad.
She's back to sleeping in her house, and she ate some pellets and hay. She's eating and wakes up if I give her attention. Is there just some time of day/night they don't produce much droppings if any?
Just the other day I had commented on how her droppings were looking great.
I have Reglan on hand if needed.
