The hose clamps work well, but we will probably switch over to using two for each since the tubes wobble considerably.

I would say it's equal to traditional hardware. I made these tubes myself and I don't have a power drill so I went with this method. I've also bought a few tubes with traditional hardware, and there are hassles to changing both types.
