RIP Boog <3
My new little chin arrived one week ago today. He is doing great! But I've noticed on his back feet, not the pad part, but back farther, his feet look sore/raw and red. Almost like he's been chewing on them?
Any idea what this could be?
He was at a breeder's before she had to give up all her chins, and he went into a temporary foster home for a couple weeks. So I don't know what his living situation (cage, etc.) was like in his first home.
After he settles in a bit and let's me touch him I'm planning on taking him to the vet for a basic wellness exam. But do you think I should take him in sooner? I don't want to damage our relationship or the trust we've been working on building! But obviously if he needs immediate care we will get it done.
