I went to homedepot and asked for kiln dried pine. He hands me wood that says "Prime pine" and says that is the same thing...Any help here or am I in good hands?

Yep - typically most pine in Home Depot will be kiln-dried. KD pine looks like a light yellow/white and appears to be clean and dry. Just make sure it isn't treated for outdoor use, as those contain chemicals. The treated pine will look almost waxy, or a darker yellow.

There's nothing waxy the wood is white with maybe a slight yellow tint so I guess I'm good!
